Our practice group list counts 77 arbitrators and mediators from member firms around the world, whose services cab be utilized by our firms an their clients. Over the years we have presented programs at AGMs on matters of topical interest relating to dispute resolution attracting 30-40 participants for each session. In September 2007 we presented a program during the Mexico City AGM on cross border mediation. During the Cape Town AGM, we presented a multi-jurisdictional program on what works and what does not work in arbitration clauses. We are in the process of collecting and collating responses to a multi-jurisdictional questionnaire on how the New York Convention operates in different countries. The results will be presented later this year in Atlanta and/or Hong Kong and will be accessible to all member firms on the TerraLex website as a tool to be used in their practices.
