TerraLex Announces New Chair Elect

TerraLex, the leading legal network for over 30 years, announced the election of its next Chair during the organization’s recent global meeting in Miami, Florida. Derek Humphery-Smith, Partner & Head of International at Lander & Rogers, will take office in October 2023.

Derek has served TerraLex for many years as a Member Representative, Board Member, and Regional Vice Chair for Asia-Pacific among other roles. At Lander & Rogers, Derek has an international practice covering all areas of workplace relations and safety law across both the public and private sectors.

TerraLex’s current chair, Tim Brown of RPC (UK – England), has said, “I am confident TerraLex will continue to thrive under Derek Humphery-Smith’s leadership and guidance. His strategic vision has long been helpful in shaping TerraLex’s future.”

Fittingly, the legal network’s second global meeting of 2023 – when Derek takes office - is set to take place in Melbourne, Australia, hosted by Derek’s firm, Lander & Rogers, giving the organization much to celebrate.
