Nixon Peabody CWL is a law firm with deep roots and profound social relations in Hong Kong. The firm was established in 2002 by lawyers who previously practiced law with other leading international firms. Many senior colleagues of the firm have been practicing law in Hong Kong for well over 3 decades. In addition, lawyers of the firm sit on the Boards or Councils of many listed companies and statutory bodies of Hong Kong.
As of 1st January of 2024, the firm has 38 lawyers. In addition to their Hong Kong legal qualification, many of them are qualified and have practiced law in other jurisdictions including England, the US, the Mainland of China, Australia, Canada, Singapore, New Zealand, the BVI and Bermuda.
